His works have been translated into Greek, Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu and will be translated into French and German. His works have been included in several international Anthologies and Magazines.

He has delivered 4600 Public lectures on Literature, Arts, Religions, Philosophy etc at various Universities and cultural institutions in India.

Fable
You promised ma a story, papa,tell me as you write it, said Tinu.
You know, my sweet, my fingeeeers bleed if I write a story.
But tinu was stubborn. God and papa never break promisese,said she.
And like caressing a Chrounch bird left lonely on a branch I began:
There was a village.
In a feud one day a couple of old men and a few young ones were slain
The village council was worried.
They went to a wise saint to know what curse was on the village.
In your village there is no tree of tears, said the saint.
The villagers were awe-suck.
O man of god, give us the tree, we beg you, prayed the village council.
The Saint chanted some mantras and conjured up a tree
Overflowing with transparent tears.
Leaves of tears, flowers of tears, and fruit of abundant tears.
Then, said the saint the Saint one who has never sinned
Shall be sacrificed this day .
A damsel came rushing forward and bowed at his feet.
Placing a hand on her head the Saint addressed her
With the ever – familiar name: Alien Maid;
And the Alien Maid entered the glass wall of the tress – trunk,
In a flash was metamorphosed into a transluscent tear-drop.
Worship the tree of tears, commanded the saint.
From that day no one in the village suffered.
Newlywed would go to the tree for is blessing;
The tree would glitter, and flowers of joy would shower down.
And raising them to their heads the bridge and groom
Would live happily ever after.
How wonderful papa: Tree of Tears…
I too shall go there for blessings when I grow up and marry.
But tell me papa, did you and mama go there?
And a drop of blood formed at my fingerprint.

TO THE OCEAN
The rivers flowing along my veins are freedom.
Turbulent now,my archaic oceans.
The shores have disappeared long ago flowing mujib,s’ footsteps.
Come, rise up, my oceans.
TO tyrants, love of the people is only transgression.
Blood- stains in the streets and fields
May not be cleaned up even by the rain.
ON every grain of the crop will be branded.
Aamra jitabo, aamra jitabo2
With the brown- paper of the blackout
I haved veiled
This day the face of the moon.
The wails of sirens circle the sky like vultures.
I know that the rivers are now unfrozen in your eyes.
Be prompt, and rise, oceans.
A patch of blood spreads on the page
Which once had love songs inscribed on it.
I swear by thunder- clouds and birds…..
The curved handwriting of young Bangla women
Shall never be effaced by tyrants.
Can never be demolished.

Arrogant Warlord
Erect a wall to dam my gushing blood- stream
Is that what you want,,
Arrogant warlord?
The banks of the reservoir brimming over with viscous blood
Vietnam you would name it perhaps
And call it the suez canal,
Regulating the flow in an ordinate pattern of your choice,
Humanity you can convert
Into a row of loaded rifles ready to kill
I know it,
And chang men into a pack of hunting hounds
Tering at the bits of flesh you throw them;
A long the expanse of the equator you can grow
Cherry trees with the sighs of beautiful anguished women
To make the earth more enchanting:
Lord of crime ,
In previous wars you have torn women asunder on longitudes
And made their scars run along the latitudes;
Blood of bullet-lacerated Bangla maidens
Trickles every moment down your tongue,
And smiling ,you sap the life of all democracies.
Yet-
Deceiver par excellence,
You have overlooked some window-slits
In the Berlin wall you have raised within me
Every day I shall watch
School-going toddlers.
